The Ground Protection Board is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) mat that can be used at well drilling, construction and landscaping job sites, and as a temporary access road. These 4' x 8' mats provide grip traction on both sides for equipment & crewmen. The plastic in the mats includes special impact modifiers that incorporate UV resistance and anti-static properties.

These boards help to prevent runoff and wheel rutting, and to prevent damage to the environment. The estimated lifespan is 10+ years and the mats are rugged enough to withstand up to 90 tons. At only 81 lbs, each mat is easy to transport and install and can be easily moved by two people. Often these mats are used instead of plywood boards as they can be re-used for many jobs, are waterproof and stronger than plywood.
